Meet Jordan

I grew up in rural Victoria, Texas, where hard work and service weren’t slogans—they were survival and a commitment to community. Raised in a place where neighbors showed up for one another, I learned early that service is what keeps families strong. That commitment carried me to the University of North Texas, where I studied Psychology and Nonprofit Leadership before beginning a career serving communities affected by domestic violence, drunk driving, and chronic illness.

I’ve lived in San Antonio since 2021, and as a new homeowner, this is where I’ve planted my roots. Like many Texans, I had to rebuild after the pandemic. In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, I felt called to serve in a way that honored my identity as a Black man and addressed the deep need for representation in our classrooms. That calling led me to become a special education teacher, working every day with students who deserve a state that supports them.

I’ve seen firsthand how decisions made in Austin shape the lives of our kids, our families, and our neighborhoods. But instead of strengthening our schools, supporting working families, and investing in communities like ours, state leaders have left us with underfunded classrooms, rising costs, and political games that help no one.

I’m running for Texas House District 120 because our community deserves better—leadership rooted in service, grounded in lived experience, and committed to putting people over politics. From Denver Heights to Royal Ridge, it’s time for representation that listens, shows up, and delivers for every family in our district.
